Basic Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods and services by Elite Glazing Group Ltd ("the Company") to you, the customer ("the Customer"). By placing an order, the Customer agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions
- Goods: All products provided by Elite Glazing Group Ltd, including, but not limited to, double-glazed windows, doors, frames, and accessories.
- Services: All services provided by Elite Glazing Group Ltd, including installation, maintenance, and repair of the Goods.
- Contract: The agreement between Elite Glazing Group Ltd and the Customer upon acceptance of a quote or order.
- Website: The official website of Elite Glazing Group Ltd at www.eliteglazinggroup.co.uk.
3. Orders and Quotes
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
- Orders may be placed verbally, in writing, or online via the Website. All orders require confirmation from the Company to be valid.
- The Customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all details, including measurements and specifications. The Company reserves the right to amend the order if any information is incorrect.
4. Pricing and Payment (Double Glazing)
- Prices are quoted in GBP (British Pounds) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. The final invoice will include VAT.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of [30%] will be required at the time of order confirmation. This deposit secures the booking and covers the initial costs of materials, manufacturing, and scheduling.
- Stage 1 Payment: A second payment of [30%] will be due once work has commenced. This payment covers the preparation, delivery of next stage materials.
- Stage 2 Completion: A third payment of [40%] will be due upon completion of the installation. This payment will be due once the installation is completed to your satisfaction, and the work area has been cleared.
- Late Payments: Any outstanding amounts not paid by the agreed due dates may incur an interest charge of [5%] per month or part thereof, starting from the due date until full payment is received. The company reserves the right to suspend further work or cancel the agreement if payments are not made in accordance with the agreed schedule.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card, and cash. Full payment must be received prior to the release of Goods or completion of Services.
4a. Pricing and Payment (Frameless)
- Prices are quoted in GBP (British Pounds) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. The final invoice will include VAT.
- A 40% deposit of the total order value is required upon order confirmation. The balance is due upon completion of installation.
- Late Payments: Any outstanding amounts not paid by the agreed due dates may incur an interest charge of [5%] per month or part thereof, starting from the due date until full payment is received. The company reserves the right to suspend further work or cancel the agreement if payments are not made in accordance with the agreed schedule.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card, and cash. Full payment must be received prior to the release of Goods or completion of Services.
5. Delivery and Installation
- Estimated delivery times will be provided at the time of order confirmation. While we aim to meet these estimates, they are not guaranteed.
- The Customer is responsible for preparing a safe and suitable environment for the installation team, including access to utilities and space for equipment.
- Elite Glazing Group Ltd is not liable for delays caused by weather, supply chain issues, or factors outside its control. The Customer will be notified of any delays as soon as possible.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
- We offer a 10-year warranty on all double-glazed units and a 5-year warranty on frames and installation workmanship. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and installation errors.
- The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, natural disasters, or unauthorised modifications by the Customer or third parties.
- To make a warranty claim, the Customer must notify Elite Glazing Group Ltd in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- The Customer may cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the order confirmation without incurring a cancellation fee, provided no work has commenced.
- If the Customer cancels an order after work has begun, Elite Glazing Group Ltd reserves the right to retain the deposit and charge additional fees based on the work completed.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation or completion of the return procedure.
8. Liability
- Elite Glazing Group Ltd is liable for any direct damage caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Our liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Customer for the Goods and Services.
- We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses.
9. Privacy Policy
- Elite Glazing Group Ltd collects and processes personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Data is used to process orders, improve customer service, and for marketing purposes (with Customer consent).
- The Customer has the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data upon request.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
11. Amendments
- Elite Glazing Group Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Customer before the next transaction.
